I want to start this review by saying: I am terrified of dental work. My fear began in childhood, growing up in Poland, where the most “reputable” dentist completely ruined my teeth. From ages 7 to 17, I endured fillings done without drilling, root canals without X-rays, and never once saw him wear gloves. If I showed fear, he yelled. That kind of experience stays with you. Fast forward to today—I didn’t sleep a wink the night before my root canal. I’d put it off for over a year out of pure fear. But from the moment I walked into Dr. Lafkowitz’s office, everything changed. The staff was kind and welcoming, and Dr. Lafkowitz was incredibly gentle and communicative. I mentioned my fear and asked him to numb the softer side of my gums first—he was surprised I even knew to ask, saying, “That’s actually where you should always start.” I thought, If only you knew what I’ve been through. To my surprise, I barely felt the numbing needle—and from there, the entire procedure was smooth and painless. Excellent experience! Dr. Lafkowitz made me feel so comfortable during my recent root canal procedures. He explained everything he was doing and was very gentle, so it made me feel more at ease. The staff was super friendly as well! I highly recommend Dr. Lafkowitz's practice for your Endodontics needs.

I can't say how thankful I am for being recommended to Dr Lafkowitz for a root canal procedure. I have never had any anxiety symptoms prior to any previous dental work until the last one before seeing Shawn. And when I tell you it was so bad that I wouldn't sleep the night night before I am just scratching the surface to describe just how upset I would become.. I had seen Dr Shawn prior to the root canal and he spent time explaining what to expect and made sure he listened to my issues with regards to really understanding exactly what went wrong to upset me so much. Well he put my mind at ease so much that my confidence was restored and I felt like my old self having no anxiety going into my appointment. Well the day came to do the procedure and I felt so comfortable that the experience changed my feelings that i will never have the anxiety I once had thanks to Dr Shawn Lafkowitz . I have heard of people experiencing this type of trepidation over dental work but until it happened to me I could never really be empathetic enough. I'm writing this review for you, the person who is looking for a solution to this type of problem , in my opinion there is not a better dentist out the
